I had to get up at silly o'clock this morning as I had to get Matt to school for 6.45am! He is lucky enough to be taking part in an engineering workshop at Southampton university.
On the plus side, it meant I could enjoy the sunrise today, and I thought I'd share it with you.

There is nothing nicer than the sun rising on a cold, frosty and misty morning. Beautiful setting.
ReplyDeleteI love your gorgeous sunrise photos Sara. Such atmospheric photos and pretty views.

It might have been early, but it sure is beautiful Sara!!! Well worth it from that point of view. I hope that your son enjoyed the day! xx
ReplyDeleteOh wow, beautiful, absolutely beautiful. The sky is gorgeous, and I always love that low lying mist effect. Definitely worth getting up so early for. I hope Matt has a good time at his workshop. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. We don't often get a chance to appreciate the dawn, we are usually stuck in traffic with time pressures for school and work. Think I might just have to make an effort over the weekend and get up early(ish) with my camera.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous sunrise. I love how you took the time to appreciate the hour even though it was very early for you. I hope Matt's engineering program went well and that he learned a lot and enjoyed it too.
ReplyDeleteI love your sunrise photos! I was up early on Tuesday, too, as my son (also 15) needed to be in school for a tour. The sunrise was beautiful, it made it almost worthwhile getting up earlier than usual, but I wasn't able to stop for a picture. And then the mist followed a while later, but here it was more drizzly mist and not half as beautiful as yours!
ReplyDeleteOh, what breathtaking photos. You live in such a beautiful area. The mist on the fields is just so lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your Christmas card, and for your comments on my blog. Yes, in the new year, I would absolutely love to meet up for a coffee. Somewhere like Chichester or Arundel would be a good half way point. xx
Stunning sunrise Sara, it looks quite magical and mystical. Thank you so much for your lovely Christmas card. I enjoyed the card swap organised by Amy at Love made my home. :))
