Grumpy

I'm afraid that is how I feel at the moment.

My son is having a horrid time at school, and it is sapping my energy that I can't sort it out.  Isn't it just the worst feeling when you can't help your child and put it right?

Consequently, I haven't taken any photos this week.  I can't remember when that last happened, although I don't think the grey weather has helped.

I'm hoping I will be back soon, with a smile on my face, and more importantly a smile on Matt's face too.

Happy weekend.

  1. So sorry to hear about your troubles Sara, I wish that I could do something to help. Take care of yourself and your son and know that your bloggy friends will be here for when you are back with it again. I am wishing for you that the smiles will return very soon! xx

  2. I completely understand how you feel. I was feeling pretty awful about a situation with my son at school earlier in the fall. He's much younger than Matt but the troubles are relative, I guess. I hope it's sorted soon and that you're feeling better. Hugs to you.

  3. My boy is struggling with Spanish oral exams, studying physics, maths and chemistry (gah - my brain just falls out at the thought of them) and is very stressed - it is hard when they are taking strain and it so hard not being able to 'make it better' like we could when they were little - my heart goes out to you both x

    1. Exactly. I feel as mum that I should be able "to make it better" and this is a tough one. Still we are getting through it
Hope your son is doing ok. Matt is keen to take similar A levels, substituting further maths for the Spanish! But as he says - no essays! x

    1. Thanks Ada - seems so much worse when it's a teacher doing the bullying. Thanks for your concern. x
