According to the weather men, Spring starts today.
I think they might have been right!
It was even warm enough, to sit outside and have a cup of tea and a quick look through my magazine which arrived in the post today. Look who I found! Jacqui - Bunny Mummy is featured in Simply Crochet . I met Jacqui when we visited Yarndale in September - and meeting someone whose blog I read was really lovely.
I even managed to do a little crochet in the garden - another row added to my Nordic Shawl
A great way to start Spring. (Back to rugby tomorrow though. I hope the weather is as nice, as we have to travel 2 hours to get to the match. An early start for us!)
Enjoy your weekend.

That second photo is wonderful. It's been so lovely to see (and feel) the sun. Good luck with the rugby tomorrow, that's a really long trip, I do hope you are being fully appreciated! I have two lots of football, and I hear there is rain coming.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the weather has improved there. It looks like you spent the sunny day very well. How nice to see Jacquie in the magazine, I've learned a lot from her blog.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah,
ReplyDeleteloved your sunny photos ....it certainly did feel very spring like yesterday.
Thanks for the mention and the link. It was great to meet you at Yarndale too.
I haven't seen the mag yet and i was hoping the embarrassing selfie would be tiny :0)

DeleteLovely spring images here! Spring is just around the corner! :) x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spring photos - it did feel good to potter in the garden yesterday.
ReplyDeleteSpring is certainly in the air! I actually sat in the garden yesterday as well - although I must admit I had about a gazillion layers of clothing on! Those skies are a treat x Jane
ReplyDeleteWarm enough to sit in the garden ... wonderful! It's warm enough here too, but too wet this weekend. Come on spring!
ReplyDeleteIt's not quite that mild here yet, but the extra warmth from the sun and sight of bulbs has been welcome. We had snow right at the end of March last year. I hope this year is warmer! Gorgeous photos of the clouds. x
ReplyDeleteYou managed to capture spring perfectly, I hope you enjoyed crocheting in the garden.
