Photography

Feeling a little more confident with my new camera, I thought I'd take some photos of the birds feeding in the garden.

 They are a lot cleverer than I gave them credit for!  Food put out, and there I sat for 40 minutes (with a cup of tea) TWICE and not a single bird landed!!  I wouldn't mind, but my garden is always so busy, but not today when I wanted them there.

 But I did take a couple of photos I liked whilst I was sitting waiting and waiting ......, so thought I'd keep them and share them here.



Food cleared within 2 minutes of me leaving my doorstep.  I think they were watching me.

There's always tomorrow.

    Naughty birds! I love that top pic though ... is it fennel?

      Indeed it is. It actually grows in the gap between the patio and the house wall. Comes back each year. My husband says it looks untidy. But I love it - all feathery and frothy by the front door. And the bees love it too.
