Nymans Gardens

I met up with a friend for a walk at a National Trust property on Wednesday - not far away from here.  Nymans Gardens is a favourite of mine.  I have been a NT member since Matt was a baby.  There was nothing better than packing a picnic and spending a few hours at Nymans.  We certainly got our money's worth in those early days!

I don't visit Nymans so often these days - I really must put that right.  I lovely place to spend a couple of hours and the tea and cake is always good.

So, if I know what a lovely place it is, why an earth didn't I take my proper camera?  No, I've no idea either!  But I think you can get an idea of just how pretty and colourful it is at the moment.

Wishing everyone a happy weekend.  I'm off to Spain on Monday, so I won't be posting, but will still be reading your blogs, but rather than from sunny Sussex, I shall be laying in the sun, with maybe even a glass or two of wine!

  3. What beautiful gardens, the NT really do work very hard on their properties don't they, they're wonderful. I'd love an NT membership again one day, there are such fantastic places to visit. I hope you have a brilliant holiday. I shall think of you lying in the sun while I'm slogging round Tesco and weeding the allotment! CJ xx

    1. You can't beat drinking a glass or two of chilled wine, watching the world go by, on a warm summers evening. x
