Sorry, I've not been around much. Life has tended to get in the way, and both a lack of photo opportunities and happy things to share have meant that there hasn't been much to write here. I suspect that the same will be true over the next few months. But I will pop by and share the pretty bits! :)
Last Tuesday I took a day away from the office to meet up with a fellow blogger. We have emailed each other regularly over the last 18 months and have become good friends - in the virtual world. So it was really nice to finally meet up and see each other. I'm glad to say we got on just as well in the real world as in the virtual. And we have promised that we will meet again soon. No photos of us - although we both like taking photos, the idea of photos of ourselves didn't appeal! Just in case you are wondering who I met - it was the lovely Amy at Love Made my Home. :)
Both being members of the National Trust - it made sense to meet at a NT property in the middle. Hatchlands Park fitted the bill and was a great place to visit. I'd not been before but will certainly go back. Especially as dogs are welcome and I am getting a puppy!
Wishing everyone a happy week.
Take care.

As you know - I love Aliums and bees on Aliums!
Trying to be creative!
Made me wonder what happened to my foxgloves.
More "trying to be creative". This is actually a ball left over from a children's activity I think!
Stunning views and beautiful shades of green wherever you looked.
You can see more balls and space hoppers here!
And peonies for Amy! :)
looks like a beautiful place Sara. So glad you had a lovely meet up with Amy.

ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful, a stunning garden. Glad you enjoyed meeting up with Amy.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a fabulous place. The NT are brilliant aren't they. We used to be members years ago, I'd like to join again one day. The space hoppers make me think that I could maybe sell it to the little people. How lovely getting to meet Amy, I'm glad you both had a good time. I hope you have a good week. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteHow lovely, it's nice to make 'face to face' contact. What a beautiful place and it looks like you had a beautiful day for it too xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely day you must of had. With everything else that's been going on I suspect it was a welcome change.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to see your pictures. I had a great day and it was of course so lovely to meet you in real life actually in person!!! I will post my pics next week I hope. So glad that we have made friends and met! xx
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat a day out in a NT property, it's always a lovely way to spend a day, and even better if you're meeting up with a friend.
ReplyDeleteI hope things are ok at home - thinking of you. xx
