I was glad the sun shone again today - and I was able to go and take a few photos following my hard work in the garden yesterday.
I really love my garden at this time of year.
I hope everyone has had a great Easter, actually I think I could do with a few more days off work - I'm enjoying the nice weather we've had the last couple of days!
The green house has been tidied.
Colour on the boundary with the field.
Busy bees. :) The sounds was wonderful and loud!
The tulips are ready to burst in to flower.
One of my favourite parts of my garden at this time of year. The daffodils make me smile every time I walk from my car to the front door. And I love that visitors often say the same when they arrive.
Cowslips - emerging in the grass.
You can see how tiny the flowers are - or how big my hands are!
Have a great week. x
It looks as though you are all set for a great summer in the garden! Your daffs really are beautiful and I can imagine are a great welcome to anyone! xx
ReplyDeleteYour garden is beautiful, Sara! You have so much variety. I love your photos, especially the one with the bee. I'm glad you had a nice Easter. :)
ReplyDeleteThe daffodils are a real delight and certainly do give a warm welcome. Some beautiful photos, capturing the essence of spring.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, it's all looking wonderful, well worth all of your hard work. The bee photo is great, and I love that white and orange daffodil, so unusual. Good to see the first of the tulips, and I really like the cowslips, they're one of my favourite flowers. It's nice to have a greenhouse, they're so useful, especially at this time of year. Long may this glorious sunshine last. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteI love cowslips! When I was little there used to be thousands of them near our beach chalet and I would pick them for my mum. They always bring me happy memories.
ReplyDeleteI found a website that sold native wild flowers as plug plants a few years ago - hard work but worth all the effort. The cowslips now do really well. Let me know if you'd like any seeds or seedlings for your new home. x
DeleteThank you I will x
DeleteHi Sara, you have a very beautiful garden with all the lovely blooms.

Thank you! This time of year is one of my favourites in the garden.
DeleteWhat a beautiful garden you have .Your shot of the bee in the flower is so beautiful
ReplyDeleteOur village is so colourful at this time of year with all the daffodils planted around the place, gardens and verges too. They give you hope don't they, after a long dark grey winter, cheer the soul.
