My nominations are Amy at love made my home. Amy and I have become good friends - in the virtual world and hope to be able to meet up, when ordinary life doesn't interfere! Her blog, in case you haven't read it, is warm and friendly and covers lots of home and garden and crafty bits.
My other nomination is CJ at Above the River. CJ makes me laugh as she talks about her life with her boys and her allotment.
There are so many lovely blogs and bloggers it has been difficult to choose just two!
And I can't leave you without sharing this photo of Smudge. She is feeling a bit off colour at the moment - a combination of old age and a thyroid problem. She was not happy with the weather yesterday! When a girl needs to pop outside for a quick wee, she doesn't want to get soaked! Look at her poor tail.
Wishing everyone a happy weekend.
Sara
Aww, thank you Sara for the nomination, just popped around blogland for a quick visit and saw your post so I had to pop by. Your blog is definitely a very good read and I enjoyed it from when I started reading it and have enjoyed getting to know you - and gosh I do so hope! - one day getting to meet you. I love CJ's blog too, she has a great sense of humour and outlook on life doesn't she. Just like you do!! xx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your award, well deserved.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the nomination! Your little smudge looks just like my first cat many years ago, she didn't like getting her long fur wet either.
ReplyDeleteSara, thank you so much for the nomination, I'm thrilled. Dear little Smudge, she's so pretty, damp or not. The piggie doesn't much like the rain either, she had to have a whole day inside yesterday. She squeaks very loudly as if to say, "Let me out". Hard to explain to her that it's too wet. Wishing you a good weekend. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteWell done. Poor smudge she doesn't look amused does she
ReplyDeleteGood choices Sara! I enjoy reading these two too! xx
ReplyDeleteHi there - I'm visiting via the Two Good Reads tag. I've really enjoyed reading through your posts and seeing your lovely photos. Do hope Smudge is feeling better now, such a shame when pets are poorly. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Caroline - thanks for popping by. Smudge is feeling much better now. :) x
