Hi

Hi there

I'm sure everyone is home this evening given the wind and rain outside.  It's just awful here.  I'm glad we got home when we did as the lanes and roads to reach my house are all closed now.

The water usually drains away quite quickly once the rain stops, but it's pretty horrid at the moment, but nothing like as bad as it is for so many others.

I'm sorry I've not been around much this last week, nor replied to comments.  I promise I have read everything as it's happened, but I have had a busy week in the office, and teenage studying and revision seems to impact on my time too!  (But so far so good - Matt is quite happy with how the Mocks have gone so far.  He says thanks for your kind wishes.)

I've not had much time for crafting this week, but have made a couple of cards for a good friends first anniversary, and a birthday.

I'm hoping that the weather forecast is right, and Sunday is a nice day.  I am desperate to spend some time in the garden and take some photos.  Mind you, Matt has a rugby match in the middle of the day, so I hope the sun stays out for most of the day.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend.

Happy Valentines Day

(We went in to Brighton and had lunch in the Lanes - despite the weather!  On the plus side, it certainly wasn't as busy as usual!!)

xx

  2. Fantastic cards, you're very talented. Glad you had a good day, and I hope you're keeping warm and dry. Almost all of our football things have been cancelled this weekend, so I'm hoping I won't have to be outside too much.

    1. Rugby has just been cancelled. I know I shouldn't celebrate - but that does mean more crochet time! :)

    1. Indeed - Matt has spent 6 hours revising today! It's tough being a teenager.

  6. I'm glad Matt's mocks are going well. Does that mean he sits his GCSEs this summer? I wish him luck!

I'm glad you're avoiding the worst of the weather. My parents live about an hour from you on the South Coast and on Friday night a HUGE fir tree in their neighbours garden was blown over into their neighbours wooden cabin, which is one of those posh shed type structures that was used as a home office. Drama! It's scary out there. If it's not wind it's rain. Stay safe and dry. x
