New Forest

A lovely few days in the New Forest. Plenty of sport activities for the boys and plenty of time for me to relax, enjoy the autumnal colours and warm enough to crochet outside. Wonderful.

A different style of card

I'm still busy making Christmas cards, but think I'm nearly there! I think I will take photos of them all together when the project is complete.
In the meantime there are still birthday cards to make. I made this for one if best friends. I saw something similar on another blog a few weeks ago - but can't quite remember where! So it's not totally my idea - just what I remembered seeing.
I must go to bed now as I've got a busy day tomorrow but will hopefully find some time to craft too.

Get Well Card

My dads wife is in hospital at the moment recovering from a back operation. She's doing well and will hopefully be home at the weekend. Although I understand she won't be able to do very much initially.
Anyway I made this card to wish her well.

Christmas cards

I'm sat in my office waiting for a mailshot to go through - it seems to be taking ages. I know it's probably not but it feels such a waste of time when I could be doing something more productive and enjoyable. But at least it's given me the option to try and blog via my phone and upload a photo. I have made quite a start on my Christmas cards. Still plenty more to do though!!
I bought this lovely stamp but I'm not quite sure that I've got the best from it but I can't think what needs to be done. I might put it away for a few days and see if that helps when I ink it up again!
