This weekend

Goodness - it doesn't feel like Autumn - I think we've moved on to Winter.  It's cold, the rain is lashing down outside (I won't mention the indoor bits!) and its blowing a gale!

 This weekend has involved a lot of this (not me I hasten to add - I just get to was the kit.  Lucky me!)


My god daughter was 18.  Goodness where has the time gone.  We shared her family celebration.


It was good to spend time with her mum - one of my oldest friends.  It's great that our children are friends too.

And finally this afternoon, after rugby trials, home to this.


The perfect end to the weekend.

    Oh, look at that fire...lovely. It was cold here today, I regretted our decision that we all walk back from swimming with wet hair this morning.

    How nice to still be such good friends with someone, and for your children to be friends with each other too. I hope I have that. x

    Ooh that fire looks inviting. We no longer have an open fire and it's the sound I miss as much as the warm flame.
