Collabro

Do you remember Britain's Got Talent last year?  I'm not a fan of this style of programme, but when you know someone who is taking part, suddenly it gets interesting!  One of Matt's friends brothers is part of the "boy band" Collabro.  And THEY WON.

As you can imagine there has been quite a lot of celebration and excitement over the last few months around here.  It was obvious when watching the school musical, that Richard's voice was in a different league.  And it is so nice to see that he had the courage of his convictions and has become successful.  I know some of it is luck, and being in the right place at the right time, but he honestly refused to give up on his dream.

When it was announced that Collabro were going on tour, a few of us from school decided to go and watch the show at the Brighton Centre.  8 of us went along - a pizza for supper first, and an invite to the after show party later.  I think that will be the one and only time I go to a party where my name had to be on a list to get in!  :)

Anyway, here are some photos from the evening.  And I know I'm biased, but I really would thoroughly recommend going to see them if you get the chance.  Great songs and amazing voices.

Wishing everyone a good week.

Sorry I haven't been around much over the last few days, it's just been incredibly busy.  So sorry if I've missed any important posts.  I am trying to catch up with my reading - but as it's half term, it might take me a while.
